Ugo Pellecchia
the florist
Since 1919
The Pellecchia flower shop was born in Nocera Inferiore in 1919. The founder Arturo Pellecchia, a strong Neapolitan gardener-florist, carried on despite the difficult historical period (the end of the First World War, the beginning of the second, the eruption of the Vesuvius of 1945), the universal message of peace, hope and beauty that only nature and its marvelous flowers can give to man. In 1954 one of Arturo's seven sons, Ugo, decided to move to the charming town of Salerno and open a new store. With the rich floral cultural baggage given to him by his father Arturo, Ugo Pellecchia has infused in his compositions that inimitable stylistic cipher made up of unusual combinations, simplicity and a refined search for the soul of flowers and their compositional balance.
